As Dr. Flanagan retired and Dr. Jim and Dr. Bob joined the practice, one thing remained unchanged—the incredible team that has cared for generations of families in our community.

These familiar faces continue to provide the same compassionate care, friendly service, and commitment to excellence that patients have known and trusted for years. Their dedication, experience, and genuine passion for helping others are a big part of what makes Nudera Orthodontic Group such a special place.

Lauri Cox

New Patient Treatment Coordinator + Marketing Director

With nearly 25 years of office management experience and 15 years dedicated to our practice, Lauri has become one of the driving forces behind the exceptional patient experience our office is known for. Since joining the team as a clinical assistant, her role has evolved to include new patient treatment coordination, marketing, and many of the day-to-day operational responsibilities that help keep the practice running smoothly.

Lauri combines her strengths in leadership, organization, graphic design, and communication to ensure every patient feels informed, comfortable, and excited about their orthodontic journey. Whether she’s meeting with new families, developing creative marketing campaigns, or working behind the scenes to support the team, she’s passionate about creating an experience that reflects the same level of excellence our doctors provide.

Her favorite part of the job is building relationships with patients and their families. As a self-proclaimed social butterfly, she loves getting to know each family and helping them feel at home from their very first visit.

Outside the office, Lauri and her husband, Nat, enjoy traveling, camping, and spending as much time outdoors as possible with their two sons, Van and Ryker. Their home is also shared with a lively crew of four furry family members, cats Meep, Nova, and Gorgonzola (better known as ZoZo or Zola), along with their German Shepherd/Husky mix, Simza.

Lauri considers it a privilege to be part of a team that changes lives one smile at a time and is proud to help continue the tradition of exceptional care that generations of local families have come to expect.

Jordan Brandt

Financial Coordinator

Over the past five years, Jordan has grown into an indispensable member of our team. With a background as an Expanded Duty Dental Assistant (EDDA), she brought a strong foundation in dentistry to our practice. Since we transitioned to Nudera Orthodontics, Jordan has stepped into the role of Financial Coordinator, where she expertly manages everything from insurance claims and treatment estimates to patient accounts and payment options, helping make the financial side of orthodontic treatment as smooth and stress-free as possible.

Jordan is always ready to lend a hand wherever she’s needed, and her willingness to learn and take on new challenges has made her an invaluable part of our office. Her favorite part of working at Nudera Orthodontics is the incredible team she gets to work alongside every day, celebrating patients’ beautiful new smiles, and, if she’s being honest, the office candy shop doesn’t hurt either!

Outside the office, Jordan and her husband, Justin, stay busy raising their four amazing kids. Their home is full of life with a dog, guinea pigs, and, yes, you read that right, even a growing worm farm! Whether she’s tackling a new project at work or another adventure at home, Jordan approaches everything with enthusiasm and a smile.

Her fun-loving personality, contagious energy, and genuine care for others brighten our office every day. Watching Jordan grow professionally over the years has been a joy, and we’re excited to see all she’ll continue to accomplish as part of the Nudera Orthodontics family.

Krisan Smith

Orthodontics Assistant and Purchasing and Inventory Manager

With an incredible 44 years of service, Krisan is the longest-tenured member of our team and a true cornerstone of our practice. She began her career with Dr. Clevan, was there to welcome Dr. Flanagan on his very first day out of residency, and today continues to provide exceptional care alongside Drs. Jim and Bob. Her dedication, experience, and unwavering commitment have helped shape the practice into what it is today.

As one of our clinical assistants, Krisan brings decades of orthodontic knowledge to every patient she cares for. She also oversees our clinical inventory and supply ordering, making sure our team has everything needed to provide outstanding care. Her favorite part of the job is the relationships she’s built over the years, with both her coworkers and the countless patients she’s watched grow up. Few things make her happier than helping someone leave with a smile they’re proud to show off.

Around the office, Krisan is known for more than just her experience; she’s also known for her infectious laughter. Her sense of humor makes even the busiest days more enjoyable, and she’s often the reason there’s laughter echoing through the halls.

Outside the office, Krisan has been happily married for over 30 years and is the proud mom of a daughter who lives and works in Colorado. She also shares her home with her beloved black cat, Jaeger. When she’s not making patients and coworkers smile, you’ll find her enjoying long walks, playing her favorite tablet games, or planning her next trip to her favorite destination, Las Vegas.

Nikki Atz

For nearly 20 years, Nikki has been a dedicated part of our team, bringing warmth, experience, and exceptional clinical care to every patient she meets. Assisting chairside comes naturally to her, and she truly couldn’t imagine doing anything else. Her favorite part of the job is seeing the excitement on a patient’s face when their braces finally come off; that moment never gets old.

Known for her kind heart and calming presence, Nikki loves building relationships with patients and their families, helping each person feel comfortable and confident throughout their orthodontic journey.

Outside the office, Nikki and her husband have been happily married for 29 years and are incredibly proud of their two grown children, both of whom have graduated from college and are thriving in their careers. Their family also includes their beloved pup, Bandit, who keeps life entertaining at home. In her free time, Nikki enjoys photography, crafting, hiking, and cheering on the people she loves.

Nikki’s compassion, experience, and genuine love for her patients make her an irreplaceable part of the Nudera Orthodontics family, and we’re grateful for the care she brings to our practice each and every day.

 

Michele Spoden

Orthodontic Assistant

With over 36 years of orthodontic experience, Michele brings a wealth of knowledge, compassion, and dedication to every patient she meets. She has been a valued member of our practice for more than a decade, providing exceptional chairside care while helping patients feel comfortable and confident throughout their orthodontic journey.

What Michele loves most is seeing the transformation from the first appointment to the day the braces come off. Knowing she’s played a part in giving someone a smile they’ll wear with confidence for the rest of their life is what makes her work so rewarding.

Outside the office, Michele and her husband, Larry, have been happily married for over 44 years. Together they’ve built a beautiful family with two daughters and a son, and they cherish every opportunity to spend time together. When she’s not at the office, you’ll often find Michele tending to her garden, especially her beloved sunflowers, playing the piano, or enjoying quality time with the people she loves most.

Michele’s experience, gentle nature, and genuine passion for patient care make her an invaluable part of the Nudera Orthodontics family, and we’re grateful to have her helping create beautiful smiles every day.

 

Katie Dietmeier

Lab Technician

Katie has quickly become an indispensable part of our team, bringing enthusiasm, initiative, and a fresh perspective to everything she does. As our Lab Technician, she plays a vital role in keeping the clinical side of our practice running efficiently by creating our in-house aligners and retainers, preparing appliances, managing our 3D printing technology, and ensuring every bonding appointment is set up and ready before patients even arrive.

A true go-getter, Katie is always looking for ways to learn, improve, and lend a hand wherever she’s needed. She loves working in a fast-paced environment where no two days are the same and enjoys the constant opportunity to expand her skills. Most of all, she appreciates the supportive team she’s surrounded by and the relationships she’s built with both her coworkers and our patients.

Outside the office, Katie lives life to the fullest. She loves escaping to Door County, spending time outdoors, playing league sand volleyball, competing in trivia nights and dart league, curling up with a good book for her book club, and making memories with friends and family. And if you’re looking for Katie around the office, there’s a good chance you’ll find a cup of coffee close by; it’s her not-so-secret favorite fuel.

 

Kristin Johnson

Scheduling Coordinator

Kristin has been working alongside Drs. Jim and Bob Nudera for the past five years and brings nearly 20 years of orthodontic experience to our team. A Certified Dental Assistant with certifications in coronal polishing and sealants, Kristin is passionate about creating a positive experience for every patient who walks through our doors.

While she currently serves as one of our Scheduling Coordinators, Kristin’s cross-training allows her to step into the clinical area whenever an extra set of hands is needed. Whether she’s welcoming patients at the front desk or assisting chairside, she’s always ready to help wherever the day takes her. Her favorite part of working at Nudera Orthodontics is the incredible team she works alongside, the doctors she has proudly worked with for years, and watching patients gain confidence as their smiles transform throughout treatment.

Outside the office, Kristin and her husband, Chris, stay busy with their grown triplet boys, who certainly keep life exciting! When she finds a little free time, she enjoys traveling, scuba diving, baking, and spending time in her garden.

Kristin lives by the motto, “Every day is a new beginning,” a philosophy that shines through in her positive attitude, caring nature, and willingness to help others. Her flexibility, experience, and upbeat personality make her an invaluable member of the Nudera Orthodontics team.

Sarah Oldenburg

Orthodontic Assistant

With 23 years of orthodontic experience and seven years working alongside Drs. Jim and Bob Nudera, Sarah brings a wealth of knowledge, compassion, and dedication to our practice. Having joined the doctors from their previous office, she’s been part of their team for years and considers not only the doctors, but her coworkers as well, to be an extension of her family.

As a clinical assistant, Sarah is passionate about helping patients achieve healthy, confident smiles. She loves building lasting relationships with the families she cares for and takes pride in making every patient feel comfortable throughout their orthodontic journey.

Outside the office, Sarah has been happily married to her husband for 22 years, and together they have three wonderful children who keep life busy and full of adventure. Whether she’s spending quality time with her family or enjoying life’s simple moments, they’re always at the center of it all.

And if you really want to make Sarah’s day? Surprise her with a large mocha frappuccino. It’s her favorite little indulgence and the perfect way to keep her smiling!

Sarah’s experience, loyalty, and caring heart make her an invaluable part of the Nudera Orthodontics family, and we’re so grateful she’s part of ours.

Grace Keller

Scheduling Coordinator

Grace may be the newest member of the Nudera Orthodontics family, but she fits right in! Before joining our team six months ago, Grace was actually one of our patients, giving her a unique perspective on the experience we strive to create every day. After completing her own orthodontic journey and seeing firsthand what makes our practice so special, she was excited to become part of the team.

With a background as a dental assistant, Grace brings both clinical knowledge and a warm, welcoming personality to her role as Scheduling Coordinator. Whether she’s greeting patients, answering questions, or helping families find appointment times that work for their busy schedules, her positive attitude and genuine enthusiasm make every visit a little brighter. Her favorite part of working at Nudera Orthodontics is the amazing team she first got to know as a patient and now has the privilege of working alongside every day.

Outside the office, Grace recently married her husband, Jake, and the two love spending time together with their adorable dogs, a Cavalier King Charles Spaniel and a Corgi. When she’s not at work, you’ll likely find her hiking, traveling with her pups, or cheering on her favorite sports teams.

Grace’s bubbly personality, infectious energy, and compassionate heart have made her a wonderful addition to our practice. We’re so glad she chose to trade in her patient chair for a spot on our team!
